2008 Start-Up: Syracuse Entrepreneur's Bootcamp

The 2008 Start-up Syracuse Entrepreneur's Bootcamp is a rigorous 6-session program designed to assist entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs in creating successful, growth-oriented businesses. Classes are taught by award-winning Syracuse University professors. Guest entrepreneurs will share their stories of challenges and obstacles overcome. Mentoring and coaching will be provided to individuals by the EEE consulting staff and MBA students Selected topics to be covered include the following: · Determining good business concepts · Knowledge of the customer and market · Obtaining financing · Making sense of numbers (accounting) · Creating and assessing business models · Key legal issues in business · Guerrilla marketing · Doing more with spending less · Approaching growth · Writing great business plans · Succeeding by one’s self · … and more!
When: Six consecutive Saturdays from 8:30am-noon: Oct. 11, 18, 25 and Nov. 1, 8, 15. Optional sessions on strategic topics will be offered on selected Saturdays from noon to 1:00pm.
Where: Classes take place at the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
