 SUMMARY:Kaizen Basics
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE: <p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'">Kaizen Basics participants will gain an understanding of the value stream, how to seek out the eight wastes and how to utilize &lsquo;lean&rsquo; tools to conduct a successful Kaizen Event. They will learn how to identify a good project and use the Shingijutsu Method to conduct a Kaizen event, including what should be in place prior to launching the event.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'">The Kaizen Basics program is delivered by TDO as part of MACNY's Training Corner. Team members will complete a Kaizen Event at their site and will gain hands-on Kaizen implementation experience. Mastery of the techniques taught in class is demonstrated via successful completion of the event with the organization receiving concrete improvement as a result.</span>
