SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry partners with the U.S. Green Building Council New York Upstate Chapter to host the Annual Green Building conference combined with the BEST program on Thursday, March 27 and Friday, March 28, 2008 at the Oncenter Complex.

Rochester Regional Business Plan Contest

$100.00 registration including three workshops

The 2008 Rochester Regional Business Plan Contest is designed to encourage entrepreneurship and advance new, high-growth ventures in the Greater Rochester New York Region.  Each of four contest finalists will receive a customized package of professional services and incubation services to accelerate their growth.  The contest winner will receive a $25,000 cash prize.

First and second place winners from the Rochester Regional Business Plan Contest will automatically advance to compete in the 2008 Golden Horseshoe Business Plan Competition.  This international event will be held in Rochester, NY on May 13, 2008.  Participants from several Upstate New York and Southern Ontario, Canada communities will complete for a Grand Prize of $100,000 cash.

The Rochester Regional Business Plan Contest features a series of workshops beginning on April 2 to help prospective entrepreneurs create the best possible plan.
