Bank and Venture Funding is available in 2008

Industry representatives from Advantage Capital, HSBC, Rand Capital and the Canadian Consulate General Buffalo will provide updates on the status & terms for 2008 funding, including currency valuation impacts.  Attendees will have an opportunity to further discuss funding availability with other capital providers and deal professionals during the round table discussions.

Funding providers attending include Upstate and NYC venture and private equity fund representatives; legal and accounting firms; and others interested in venture and private equity transactions.

Entrepreneur's Minute:
Entrepreneurs looking for funding will have an opportunity to make a one-minute presentation during the "Entrepreneur's Minute". Companies interested in an opportunity to present at the "Entrepreneur's Minute" should sign up on line when registering to attend the event.  There is no additional cost to present if you are selected.

The title of his key note address: Facts Will Ruin A Good Story Every time: The Facts Behind the Veterans Administration Laptop Theft.

TechConnex CEO Summit at ITRx: Roundtable promoting peer discussion of using technology to create an evolution of a business model, igniting innovation through business and technology integration, and technology trends affecting business practices. The CEO Summit will be facilitated by Wally Altes. With more than 25 years of strategic business development experience, including leading his own human resources consulting firm and 12 years as President and CEO of the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce, Wally Altes is both known and respected in the local business community. In addition to serving on several boards, he is currently Executive in Residence at the Graduate College of Union University. Wally was instrumental in branding our area as Tech Valley, a name which captures the emerging technological research and development now occurring.

The artwork features Iowa landscapes, Green Lakes, seascapes, farmlands, and local and foreign nature scenes; photographs of Acadia’s coastline, Sterling Nature Center, Road Hollow Waterfall, and the Canadian Rockies. Plus moods and feelings are reflected in some of the photographs. The porcelain and ceramic pieces will compliment the variety of media.
