Six Upstate/Central New York organizations with expertise in manufacturing, technology, energy, the environment, and social entrepreneurship have joined forces to present the second annual Accelerate 2008 Conference. Accelerate 2008 offers an opportunity to educate consumers, promote exciting products and technologies and foster innovative solutions that impact economic vitality, social equity and environmental stewardship in our region.

Kaizen Basics

$250 ($125 MACNY member)

Kaizen Basics participants will gain an understanding of the value stream, how to seek out the eight wastes and how to utilize ‘lean’ tools to conduct a successful Kaizen Event. They will learn how to identify a good project and use the Shingijutsu Method to conduct a Kaizen event, including what should be in place prior to launching the event.

The Kaizen Basics program is delivered by TDO as part of MACNY's Training Corner. For registration please contact Kris Alexich at 315-474-4201 x12.

On-site option:
The Kaizen Implementation class can be conducted at your facility and includes Kaizen Basics. Team members will complete a Kaizen Event at their site and will gain hands-on Kaizen implementation experience. Mastery of the techniques taught in class is demonstrated via successful completion of the event with the organization receiving concrete improvement as a result.
