NYS Department of Economic Development is taking its expertise on the road. They are hosting the first annual International Road Show from June 2 through June 6. The event starts in New York City on June 2, to Albany on June 3, Syracuse on June 4, Rochester on June 5, and Buffalo on June 6.
Whether your company is expert ready or you are interested in learning how to export your goods, the International Road show is an excellent opportunity for New York businesses to develop new foreign markets that will increase exports and profits in 2008 and beyond.
The foreign office representatives will introduce those in attendance to qualified sales representatives or distributors in the Americas, Asia, Europe and Africa, and discuss other services, such as market intelligence, advice regarding foreign business practices and the key foreign trade shows in your market sector.

Held by Cornell's Center for Technology Enterprise and Commercialization (CCTEC), this one day event will provide you with important information on starting a new technology business. The day will feature panels of entrepreneurs, investors, and technologists in life and physical sciences. A panel will also discuss legal, policy and operational issues. The key note lunch speaker will be John Alexander, '74, Cornell Trustee and Founder of The CBORD Group. The event will end with a cocktail reception and dinner for registered attendees.
